Governor Bobby Jindal Announces the Appointment of Lance Wallace to the Louisiana State Board of Private Investigators

BATON ROUGE – Today, Governor Bobby Jindal announced the appointment of Lance Wallace to the Louisiana State Board of Private Investigators.

The Louisiana State Board of Private Investigators serves to govern the practice of a private investigator in the state of Louisiana, examine all applicants seeking licensure as a private investigator or private investigator agency and issue licenses to those possessing the necessary qualifications.

According to statute, the board is comprised of seven gubernatorial appointments, including one member from each of the five public service commission districts. Additionally, one licensed attorney from the state at large is appointed and one member selected from nominations submitted by the board of directors of the Louisiana Private Investigators Association to the governor.

Lance Wallace, of Lake Charles, is the owner of Wallace Investigations, LLC, and a member of the Louisiana Private Investigators Association. Wallace will serve as a representative of the 4th Public Service Commission District, as required by statute.
