Jan 28, 2013 BATON ROUGE- Today, Governor Bobby Jindal announced appointments to the Board of Tax Appeals. The Board of Tax Appeals serves to regulate all matters relating to appeals for the redetermination of assessments or for the determination of overpayments, the waiver of penalties and matters relating to claims against the state. According to statute, the board is composed of three at-large gubernatorial appointments, subject to senate confirmation. Appointments to the Board of Tax Appeals: Hon. Anthony Graphia, of Baton Rouge, is a retired East Baton Rouge Parish Family Court judge. Graphia will be reappointed to serve as an at-large gubernatorial appointee, as required by statute. Cade Cole, of Lake Charles, is an attorney at Sigler & Raglin, APLLC, Justice of the Peace of Calcasieu Parish Ward 6, and Magistrate Judge for the DeQuincy City Court. Cole will be appointed to serve as an at-large gubernatorial appointee, as required by statute. ### |
