Feb 04, 2013 BATON ROUGE – Today, Governor Bobby Jindal announced reappointments to the Louisiana Board of Chiropractic Examiners. The Louisiana Board of Chiropractic Examiners serves to regulate the licensing of chiropractors and conduct hearings on any charges for the revocation or suspension of a license. According to statute, the board is comprised of seven gubernatorial appointments, subject to senate confirmation. Each member must be a licensed chiropractor who has been continuously engaged in the practice of chiropractics in Louisiana for at least five years. Reappointments to the Louisiana Board of Chiropractic Examiners: Ned Martello, D.C., of Denham Springs, is the owner of Martello Chiropractic and is a member of the Louisiana Union of Chiropractic Physicians. He is also currently the representative from the South East Region on the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Board. Matello will be reappointed to serve as a licensed chiropractor, as required by statute. Jon Zeagler, of Natchitoches, is the owner of Trinity Chiropractic Clinic, Inc. and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association. Zeagler will be reappointed to serve as a licensed chiropractor, as required by statute. ### |
