Gov. Edwards to Hold COVID-19 Media Briefing on April 15
BATON ROUGE – Tomorrow, Gov. Edwards will host his 49th monthly statewide call-in radio show, Ask the Governor. The governor will be joined by Dr. Alex Billioux, assistant secretary for the Louisiana Office of Public Health. Ask the Governor is broadcast on radio stations statewide and on 89.3 WRKF in Baton Rouge and streamed online at wrkf.org and gov.louisiana.gov.
Afterward, Gov. Edwards will hold a media briefing about Louisiana’s response to COVID-19. Acting Louisiana State Superintendent of Education Beth Scioneaux will join him to discuss schools. As of Tuesday, April 14, there were 21,518 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana, with 1,013 deaths
