Today, U.S. District Court Judge Ivan Lemelle issued an order in the U.S. Department of Justice suit against the Louisiana School Choice Scholarship Program. The Judge’s order is a win for children and parents in Louisiana who deserve access to an opportunity for a better education. The order did not grant the request by President Obama’s Department of Justice for veto power over individual scholarship awards as the Justice Department had initially demanded.

Today, Governor Bobby Jindal and Air Products and Chemicals Inc. Senior Vice President Steve Jones announced the completion of $1 billion in project investments in Louisiana over the past four years that have tripled the production capacity of the largest hydrogen pipeline network system in the world. Air Products built and brought on-stream four major hydrogen plants along the Mississippi River from Baton Rouge to the greater New Orleans area, boosting vital hydrogen supply to Louisiana’s refinery and petrochemical sectors.

GOVERNOR JINDAL AND INTEGRICO COMPOSITES CEO SCOTT MACK ANNOUNCE $20 MILLION MANUFACTURING FACILITY AND CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS IN LOUISIANA
Today, Governor Bobby Jindal and IntegriCo Composites CEO Scott Mack announced a $20 million capital investment by the company to establish a manufacturing facility near Springhill that will produce transportation infrastructure components – including railroad ties, rail crossings and industrial mats – from landfill-bound plastic waste. The company also will relocate its corporate headquarters from Temple, Texas, to Webster Parish.
