Governor Jindal and Danos Announce New Louisiana Headquarters and Manufacturing Expansion
Today, Governor Bobby Jindal and Danos President and CEO Hank Danos announced the company will retain its headquarters in Louisiana and that Danos & Curole Marine Contractors LLC has selected a site in Gray, Louisiana, for its new $10 million corporate headquarters facility. In addition, Danos announced it is evaluating multiple Louisiana port locations to select where it will build a new $20 million manufacturing and fabrication facility.

ROYOMARTIN ANNOUNCES $20 MILLION EXPANSION AT CHOPIN PLANT
Today, Gov. Bobby Jindal and President and Chief Financial Officer Roy O. Martin III of RoyOMartin-Martco Ltd. Partnership announced the company will invest $20 million to modernize and expand the Martco plywood facility in Chopin, La. RoyOMartin-Martco will upgrade drying equipment, add a production line and create 24 new direct jobs with an average annual salary of $42,000, plus benefits. The company will retain 686 jobs, and LED estimates the expansion project will result in an additional 56 indirect jobs – for a total of 80 new jobs for the area.

Governor Jindal Orders Review of All Texas Brine Permits as Company Continues to Fail to Offer Buyouts
Today, Governor Bobby Jindal issued an Executive Order instructing the Commissioner of Conservation to conduct a complete review of the permits issued to Texas Brine in connection with its operations of salt cavern wells in Assumption Parish, as well as all permits issued to Texas Brine throughout the State.

GOVERNOR JINDAL AND WOLVERINE TERMINALS ANNOUNCE $30 MILLION CRUDE OIL TERMINAL PROJECT IN ST. JAMES PARISH
Today, Governor Bobby Jindal and Wolverine Terminals LLC General Manager Terry Wilson announced the company will make a $30 million capital investment to establish a crude oil terminal and blending operation on a 15-acre Mississippi River site in St. James Parish. Wolverine will create 20 new direct jobs, with an average annual salary of $62,000, plus benefits. LED estimates the project will result in 18 new indirect jobs for a total of 38 new jobs. In addition, the project will create an estimated 100 construction jobs.
