St. Landry Abilities and the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office will be partnering together to host a public event to educate people with special needs and their families on how to be prepared in case of an emergency.
On-site medical information will be provided with local emergency agencies fingerprinting, taking photographs, and distributing paperwork. This information will be entered into the St. Landry Parish law enforcement database in case of an emergency, and the information will provide local law enforcement agencies who may come into contact with a special needs person vital information to help and assist people with special needs.
Snacks and drinks will be provided with local first responders attending to your answer questions and concerns.
