This presentation will examine the dispute resolution options for children with exceptionalities, and identify some of the most common/frequent dispute issues.
Participants should be able to navigate through the dispute process better, specifically by using some of the less adversarial dispute resolution options.
These options generally lead to better outcomes and relationships between parents and educators, save time, are more cost effective, and require fewer human resources than a due process hearing and/or litigation.
