  • Search by key word for boards which interest you.
  • Review the statute for the board’s specific purpose and membership rules
  • Determine which seat of the membership you qualify to fill
  • Request nominations where appropriate
  • Have nominations submitted to boards@la.gov
  • Because every governor appointment will go through senate confirmation, it is also a good idea to speak with your local senator for a nomination. You can use the Find My Legislators tool to determine who that is.
