Have you ever left a school meeting frustrated and wishing you could have asked this question? The truth is there are many things about inclusion in education and the community that are not clear even to the parents of children with disabilities, let alone others.

Successful inclusive education can and does happen! Learn what every parent should know to have their child supported to participate in general education classes and other school activities.

Cindy Arceneaux and Rose Gilbert are parents of adults who were included when they attended school. Each has over 30 years of experience advocating for their own children and as professional advocates. They are currently partners in the firm Lifeline Advocacy, a consulting and advocacy agency.
