Baton Rouge, LA—Today, Governor Landry is noting new filings showing significant rate decreases for two Allstate subsidiaries—changes that will benefit more than 12,000 personal auto policyholders across the state.

Allstate North American Insurance Company’s (ANAIC) filed for a nearly 8% rate decrease, affecting 10,746 policyholders. Encompass Insurance Company of America’s National General program filed for a 15% rate decrease, impacting 1,516 policyholders, effective December 8, 2025.

“Proud to see yet again that our insurance reforms are working,” said Governor Landry. “These rate reductions are proof that when we create a stronger, more stable insurance market, Louisianians benefit. We will continue pushing for reforms that bring real relief and more competition to our state.”
