  • Secured $80+ billion in new investments, including:
    • Largest foreign investment in state history.
    • Largest export facility in North America.
    • First U.S. steel plant for a global auto giant.
  • Axed corporate franchise tax- sent a clear signal: Louisiana is open for business.
  • Landed "Deal of the Year" for a $10B data center - the largest in the Western Hemisphere.

Tax Relief for the People

  • Lowered income taxes, tripled the standard deduction, and eliminated income tax for the working poor.
  • Cut loopholes, simplified the code, and made Louisiana competitive again.

Smaller Government

  • Launched a watchdog program saving taxpayers hundreds of millions by cutting fraud and waste.
  • Introduced “One Door” and REINS to keep bureaucracy in check and spending transparent.

Louisiana Energy Comeback

  • Ended legacy lawsuits
  • Made permitting move faster
  • Cut the severeance tax in half for new oil wells

Consumer Protection

  • Passed 50+ insurance reforms – more than any governor in state history.

  • Took cell phones out of classrooms and put the Ten Commandments in.

Healthy Louisiana

  • Cleared junk from school meals
  • Implemented SNAP healthy food waivers- removing soft drinks, energy drinks, and candy from the list of items eligible for purchase with SNAP benefits.
  • Made healthcare providers get nutirition training and forced food markers to be honest about what's really in our food.
