Reasons for jump: Louisiana has stable, in-state generation, mainly natural gas (76% of produced energy) that helps keep prices low while other states rise.

Louisiana did not only stay competitive, but we lowered prices from 10.41¢ per kWh in 2023 to 8.8¢ per kWh in 2024.
