Using Tactile Supports for the Visually Impaired

Vision is a primary sense for learning. But what about students who cannot access visual cues or written information? The use of tactile symbols is appropriate for students with visually impairments or blind who lack formal means of communication or literacy. In this training, we show teachers how to convey instructional expectations, mood and information through physical and direct contact with the student.
